THE VINEYARDS

GOODNESS OF THE AIR, THE SUN AND THE EARTH

In Crespignaga di Maser, in the heart of the Asolo DOCG, a small area of excellence between Monte Grappa and the Piave, our vineyards embroider the gentle plain and the airy and sunny slopes that look towards the south of the Asolo hills which, with their alternation regular and harmonious, they protect the Maser and neighboring territories from the winds coming from the North, thus favoring a microclimate with milder temperatures and typically Mediterranean characteristics. Asolo is in fact the northernmost place in Italy where bougainvillea and capers grow.

Alongside the privileged microclimate, the particularity of the soil which is of calcareous and sedimentary origin, rich in mineral salts, is decisive for the vocation of this territory to viticulture. A happy combination for a precious biodiversity. In fact, besides the vine, they also find olive trees, chestnuts and fruit trees such as apples and cherries.

“THE RITE OF THE HARVEST, EVERY YEAR RENEWS THE HOMAGE TO THE ANCESTORS AND THE SPIRIT OF NATURE”

Geological aspects, exposure and microclimate have deeply linked the Glera vine to this Territory, emphasizing its essential organoleptic characteristics to obtain a superior quality Prosecco, together with the historical traditions of generations of winemakers such as the Visentin family.
